Teaching Positions

English Bridge Instructor

An English Bridge Instructor Must:

-Preferably a native-speaker or overseas graduate.
-English Bridge DOES NOT accept instructors who speak English as a second language.
-Possess English proficiency so high that they are able to gain the respect of native American, Australian and British students. These students have super high scores in TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GRE and GMAT.
-Score in the top 1% (99 Percentile) both on the GMAT and GRE.
-Score a 9.0 in IELTS (or any equivalent English proficiency tests)

Coding Instructor

Training Program

Classroom quality is our top priority. All part-time instructors are committed for long-term teaching and have to go through a comprehensive training program designed collaboratively by First Code lead instructors and professional educators. Through our program, each prospective instructor picks up design philosophy of our programs, teaching strategies, classroom management strategies, and last but not least, technical concepts.

The entire program takes about 15 to 20 hours, including group discussion, self-study, lecture, activity, mock teaching, and shadowing in actual classrooms. The sessions will be hosted on weekdays and weekends, and each prospective instructor is expected to complete all the sessions before becoming a STEM Course Instructor.

REQUIREMENTS

Passion in Computer Science / Software Engineering: You have a desire to learn about computer science. You frequently read up on news in the field, and light up when talking about new technology. Native English speaker

Passport holder from New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland or South Africa

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

Clean criminal background check from country of residence dated within 6 months (Vietnamese government requirement)

At Wall Street English we require our teachers to have a CELTA or equivalent in TEFL certification. The requirements are as below:

· 120 or more hours in a minimum four week program

· Group sizes no larger than 6:1 trainee to trainer ratio

· Minimum of 6 hours observed and evaluated teaching practice with real students

· Qualified trainers holding a university degree and TEFL certificate and a minimum of 8 years of international teaching experience in at least 2 countries

· Written and teaching assessment of trainees

· Curriculum should include:

· Grammar

· Methodology

· Phonology

· Classroom management

· Activities

· Practice with at least three different ESL textbook series

· Practice working with ESL audio visual aids and materials

· Introduction to international exam series or one business English textbook series

It is important that your certification is a minimum of 120 hours on-site training with a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice from a certified trainer.

Overview:

As a Personal Tutor, you ensure the educational success of your Center’s Students through effective coaching, motivation, and support. Students will look up to you to help them achieve their goals and develop life-long learning skills.

Key Tasks:

Deliver top-notch student educational experience with unparalelled customer service

Ensure that students trust and follow the Wall Street English Method

Conduct orientation classes, give academic advising sessions, and assist students with multimedia lessons and the digital book material

Provide feedback and motivation to students in the multimedia Speaking Center

Advise students on how to achieve their educational goals

Motivate students throughout the course both in person and over the phone

Collaborate with Educational Consultants to facilitate Renewals and Referrals
